“I spend time thinking about my world, my perceptions, my actions: My Reality. I think of other people, their thoughts, their perceptions, their realities, and how we all fit together.

I believe that, despite fundamental commonalities, each reality is pretty unique . It’s unlikely I can, with resonance and depth, experience the way another person interprets, connects or perceives their world and vice-versa. Nor can I be sure how or why another person is touched by particular events in their lives; their association might be quite different from mine.

Love, happiness, grief, sorrow, despair: emotions and experiences which can leave a visceral imprint on the shaping of our respective realities. Each not so uncommon and each we can define in our own words, but the path we choose, the landmarks we note and the scars we carry with us are ours alone.

My work is about my reality: my thoughts, my feelings and my take on the world around me - and, more importantly, my world within. Perhaps some pieces will connect with you, begin a dialogue with your experiences, conscious or otherwise. I cannot experience your life and you cannot experience mine, but somewhere among these pieces I hope you will find a commonality, a conversation, a connection.“
